Fantastic place to go for a traditional hearty american breakfast. Be sure to wear your stretchy pants here, you'll need them.
The restaurant was very busy, but we were able to get a table after only a few minutes. The service was alright and our breakfasts came fairly quickly. Unfortunately the food was not very good. The coffee was extremely weak and watery (the opposite of a lot of places where it can be dark & bitter) and this was the first time I've ever not liked French toast. It was not sweet and was very fried tasting- kind of like a grilled cheese sandwich that has been fried on a griddle. The fruit salad had some apple in it that was a very strange color and seemed like it was rotten. The ham steak was excellent, everything else was yucky.
Wow, I'm impressed. The food is fresh and hot. Cooked to perfection and a wonderful atmosphere. Clean restroom and facility. It's almost hard to believe.
Very hospitable, very reasonably priced, excellent food! Their baked chicken, yams, and cabbage are the best! Definitely coming back here!
Mind boggling League huge portions, great service, a great all American breakfast place.
